The Platform

RootResolve™.
Our 5-layer soil intelligence platform.

Swipe01 / 05

01

Document the conditions roots experience

Map the site, define repeatable sampling zones, and evaluate drainage, compaction, water movement, terrain, and other physical conditions that shape root performance.

02

Measure the soil’s chemical foundation

Measure pH, salinity, nutrients, organic matter, and exchange capacity to identify chemical limitations and avoid treating the wrong problem.

03

Understand if the soil is alive and functioning.

Combine biological activity, nutrient-cycling indicators, and living microbial biomass to understand how actively the soil system is functioning.

04

Resolve the microbial community at high depth

Use long-read metagenomic sequencing to identify microbial communities, specific species, potential functions and pathogens, and organisms that merit closer attention.

05

Turn snapshots into predicted trajectories.

Track results and interventions over time and outcomes back into the analytical model to identify what’s working, improve precision, and predict problems before they arise.

RootResolve™: From sample to action plan in four steps.

  1. 01

    Soil Sample Collection

A user-friendly sampling kit is shipped to you, with collection structured around distinct management zones defined by crop, water conditions, land use, or other site-specific factors.

  2. 02

    Soil Analysis & Diagnosis

Aurum combines soil chemistry, biology, physical conditions, and microbial DNA insights to identify the most important constraints affecting your land.

  3. 03

    Recommendations & Action Plan Report

Clear findings and prioritized recommendations tied directly to identified soil constraints, delivered through accessible reports that translate complex science into plain language—not a stack of numbers without context.

  4. 04

    Longitudinal Monitoring

Repeat measurements track how your land responds to management actions, yield increasingly precise recommendations, and help identify emerging issues earlier. Year-over-year data can unlock tailored microbial consortia interventions when you are ready.

Outcomes

Better Decisions. Better Use of Every Acre. Higher Crop Yields. Less Waste.

Swipe01 / 05

Get the most out of your land

Whether you are seeking higher crop yields, greener grass, or pathogen identification, the RootResolve™ platform can help you achieve you management goals.

Target the real constraints

Identify what is actually limiting performance—before spending time and money on the wrong solution.

Use resources where they matter

Prioritize the interventions most likely to make a difference and use water, inputs, labor, and capital more efficiently.

Learn, adapt, and anticipate

Track how the system responds over time so each intervention improves the next decision, reveals emerging risks earlier, and strengthens predictive insights.

RootResolve™ in Action: Five Zones, Three Different Constraints

A five-zone RootResolve™ assessment showed that one blanket treatment would have missed the real problems: nutrient drawdown in the hay field, acidity and likely compaction in the pasture, and drainage limitations beneath the failed sage. Aurum converted those differences into zone-specific actions and avoided unnecessary inputs where fertility was not the problem.

Sudan Grass: When Irrigation Water Is the Limiting Factor

Integrated soil, biological, and water analysis showed that severe salinity, sodium, and chloride stress were compounding low organic matter and limited microbial biomass. Aurum turned an establishment problem into a prioritized plan for water management, carbon restoration, and targeted micronutrient correction.

Alfalfa Establishment Under Severe Salinity

Testing separated soil limitations from an even more acute irrigation-water problem, including extreme salinity, sodium, and chloride. The result was a clear remediation sequence focused first on water management, then soil carbon and micronutrient constraints—not a generic fertility program.

Healthy Soil Biology, Hidden Water Risk

The garden had a robust microbial community, but severely saline irrigation water and an anomalous copper result posed the real management risks. Aurum helped preserve what was already working biologically while redirecting attention toward water management and targeted copper investigation.

From Former Landfill to Future Park: A Soil Restoration Roadmap

At a proposed City of El Paso park site, Aurum identified critically low organic matter, depleted microbial biomass, absent mycorrhizal fungi, alkaline conditions, and salt stress. The assessment gave the project team a clear remediation pathway and quantitative baseline for preparing the site for future planting and tracking recovery.
